Are you one of the many people that attend our annual George Street Festival and other events and would like to request a media pass to capture these great shows? If so, please read the information below and then complete the form to apply for a pass for the upcoming year.
Some details regarding media passes:
- Photos: Your pass allows you to capture ONLY the first 3 songs from the photo pit and no flashes are allowed.
- Video: All requests for video need to be approved in advance by band management.
- All photos and videos must be posted and George Street Association’s social media accounts tagged in all postings, or advise of articles, blogs, etc., WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SHOW.
- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THE PASSES TRANSFERABLE TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE REQUESTOR WITHOUT PREVIOUS PERMISSION. Failure to abide by this will result in a permanent ban from all our events.
- Content to be photographed or filmed and the duration could change based on the individual artist’s contracts. If there are any changes, they will be provided prior to the show.
- Passes are awarded on a yearly basis so a new form must be completed each year.
- Recipients will be contacted via their provided email in the week prior to the event if they have been successful with further instructions included for pass pickups.
By accepting the media pass, you agree to abide by all rules set out by GSA and all band management. Any deviation from this behaviour or any other behaviour that causes issues for the Association or where Security needs to be involved, will result in the media pass being revoked and will not be granted any others in future.
