George Street Gives Back
Giving back is part of what we do year-round. Through fundraisers and community initiatives, the George Street Association and its members are proud to support local charities and organizations making a difference in Newfoundland and Labrador.
50/50 Fundraisers
Throughout the year, we host 50/50 fundraisers on George Street in support of local causes. Last December, our 50/50 raised $5,000 for the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (SPANL), helping support single-parent families across the province.
Follow us on social media for upcoming fundraiser announcements, and keep an eye out for GSA staff selling 50/50 tickets on the Street. Every ticket purchased helps us give back to our community.
AUGUST 26TH
Please be advised that our first of two summer 50/50 campaign resulted in the winner named Billy Guiboche who was the recipient of $1,845. As a result of public voting, The Jacob Puddister Memorial Foundation is the recipient of an equal share of the money raised.
